Teaching

I am incredibly fortunate to be able to work with an amazing community of students, colleagues, and administration. I know that sounds like I'm just paying lip service, but, actually, The University at Albany is a pretty great place to teach. I teach in the Program in Writing & Critical Inquiry, where we help students navigate through the rigors of academic discourse. In doing so, we hope our students walk away with three important poins of emphasis.

1) Learning is a life-long pursuit. We never stop, nor should we.

2) Critical inquiry, along with curiosity, is vital when trying to solve life's most difficult problems.

3) You're stronger and more resilient than you know. Go out into the world and prove it to yourself by taking on responsibility.
